We Can Help

Separation anxiety is a heartbreaking panic disorder that can shatter the quality of life of both dog and owner.  It affects millions of dogs in the United States so if you think you’re alone, you’re most certainly not.

Our trainer, Toni Clarke, is a certified separation anxiety trainer (CSAT). This means she has specialized education and expertise in working with these often complex cases.

How We Work

Believe it or not, separation anxiety work is done remotely. That's because when the trainer coaches from a distance, the  training set-up mimics real life absences, which is vital for progress.

We work using easy to use video chat platforms such as Zoom and FaceTime. Not tech-savvy? We will guide you through the set-up. All you need is a computer or mobile phone and access to the internet.

There is hope!

There is a vast array of misinformation out in the ether about what separation anxiety is and how to make the behavioral manifestations improve. We use the most studied, up-to-date techniques to work with your pup to desensitize them to their fear, much as we might desensitize a human with a phobia about spiders. The devil is very much in the details as to whether a protocol is successful, so put yourself in the hands of a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). Learn more about this condition and the techniques used to alleviate it here.
